Some medicinal uses of the Lemon Tea Tree
Posted on October 8, 2014 at 2:30 AM |
Hi everyone. Hope you are all having a lovely day. The lemon tea tree grows to about 4 metres and is a native in Queensland. It is drought hardy. The leaves are used in a tea for coughs and colds, urinary complaints, respiratory complaints and candida. Another way of using Lemon Tea Tree is as an oil. Macerate a large handful of leaves in almond or coconut oil for two weeks, shaking daily. This oil can be used for leg cramps, pins and needles, treat carbuncles, ringworms, athlete's foot, to deter insect bites and acne.
The leaves can also be used to flavour meat and savoury dishes. Love, Peace and Harmony to you all.
