Medicinal uses of the Alpine Strawberry
Posted on September 23, 2014 at 5:25 PM |
Hello everyone. Hope your morning or night has been a good one so far. Alpine Strawberries (F.vesca 'Alexandria'), come in two different colours. One is red and the other is golden. They only grow to 2-3 cm long. They are a lot smaller than the commercial grown ones. Strawberry leaves can be made into a tonic for the bladder, spleen, kidneys, liver, blood, anemia, rheumatism, fevers, colic, gout, nervousness, night sweats, kidney and liver stones, jaundice, poor circulation and other health complaints. The strawberry tea can be drunk hot or cold. The strawberry tea can be made out of dried leaves or fresh. Remember to use only organically grown strawberries that are non hybrid. To get the true medicinal uses out of fruit and vegetables and herbs, they need to be grown organically and of non hybrid breed. Love, Peace and Healing to you all. www.journyman1.com by Lesley
