Medicinal uses of thyme

Thyme is a herb that can assist to break up congestion in the head and chest, relieve coughing and bronchial spasms, and facilitate ease of breathing. Thyme has a stomach settling effect, helps digestion, kills germs and fungi and is useful as a gargle for throat and mouth ulcers. Other uses have included: diarrhea, fatigue, fever, lack of appetite, premenstrual tensions, bad breath, athlete's foot, cancer, cramps, hair loss, lice and other skin parasites, arthritis, nerve pain, bruises, depression, nail infections, sinus, sciatica, multiple sclerosis, intestinal worms, gum diseases, giddiness, rheumatism, sciatica, poor circulation, multiple sclerosis and to stimulate the production of white blood corpuscles which help resist infections. It is used for other health issues too. Thyme is another easy to grow herb. Remember to buy heirloom seed not the seed with F1 on the packet. And remember to seed save. This is very important.
